africa witchcraft children

Do you think some of the African children being accused as "witches" by pastors have paranormal abilities?
There is an epidemic of accusations of this sort in parts of Africa like Congo and Nigeria. Children and adults who are accused are severely mistreated and even murdered. The majority of children abandoned on the streets of Kinshasha, Congo, have been accused of witchcraft.
It's sounds like a dangerous place to have abilities like being able to see spirits or having premonitions. But I bet a lot of people are accused because they are easy victims and someone has something to gain.

Do I think they have "paranormal abilities"? Like psychic? Yes, I think everyone is psychic to an extent, some more latent than others. Do I think they can see spirits or communicate with the non physical world? Again, yes. Everyone has this in them. So it's not a matter of whether these kids have "powers" as it seems more that the problem is people who are ignorant about such things are the dangerous ones.
Obviously a child being accused as a witch and harmed for it is having their human rights violated. If they are witches it's their RIGHT to practice that "religion" and there is nothing inherently negative about witchcraft (except to a brainwashed Christian). But in many cases I suspect that isn't even the cases and these kids are just victims of PROJECTION.
It's the PERSECUTION based upon religious assumption that is manipulative and sick. Has nothing to do with which religion either. There are good and bad people in this world, some of them religious and some atheist.
WitchCraft and the paranormal are not dangerous, people's interpretations and egotistical projections about them are dangerous.
