More On Gems

Bruneau Jasper, are gemstones that has a red color to it, the color comes from iron bearing chalcedony, that comes from Bruneau Canyon, Idaho, and is used to be the greater quality material being used.

The Gems from Bruneau Canyon, Idaho, in this exceptional place are gems that have been known to be used on many important events and have been known to have blue skies that the Oregon material doesn‘t have.

I found that Bruneau Canyon, Idaho's, mining site was flooded by a dam and water covered the area and lost the materials needed for these stones and when this happen it put a stop to the materials the miners were using for the stones and the material are considerably hard to find.

Tigers Eye are silicate minerals, they are a hydrous silicate mineral containing varying amounts of aluminum, calcium, iron, magnesium, and sodium

Crocidolite,  are blue to purple minerals that are a fibrous purplish blue form of the mineral known as  Riebeckite, these Riebeckite Gemstones are blue and black silicate minerals of the amphibole group containing iron and sodium and when iron comes in contact with these gemstones this is what gives the stones there brown colors.

These Gemstones that are known as Chalcedony,  they have the form of a translucent or grayish semiprecious stone that are a variety of banded quartz.

These various types often differ in color due to the different metallic impurities, such as iron, nickel, copper, and titanium that is present during their crystallization time.

The collection of Chalcedony stones are normally carved, notwithstanding they are an exceptional gemstone and they are close to being transparent and faceted.

Bruneau Jaspers, are gemstones that have red colors to it that comes from iron bearing chalcedony, that comes from Bruneau Canyon, Idaho, it use to be the better substance used for these Gemstones.

Would you say you like my translation of this Italian sonnet?

A little closer if my eyes had verged
Upon the light which dazzled them to see
From far away that change in Thessaly,
All changed, my form as well should have emerged.

And if no more my form can be immerged
In hers (no mercy though it sifts for me),
Of such a rigid stone should pensive be
My countenance, not such by carving urged,

Of diamond or of lovely marble cold,
Or white from fear, or jasper crystal, say,
Which avid, vulgar minds do highly grade,

To step outside this yoke, which does not weigh
So harsh on one I envy, spent and old,
Whose shoulders cast Morocco in their shade.

~Francesco Petrarca, Canzoniere 51

Note: Canzoniere 51 is in some sense a natural resting place in the sequence, but I shall return presently. My thanks many fold to all who have read these scribblings so far and so graciously. The second of four large groupings of In Vita is 52-119. In Morte begins at 264 and the sequence ends at 366 for the leap year.

Yes I have enjoyed reading the translation of this Italian sonnet. I have also read Tech's reply to you in order that I have a better understanding. My knowledge is extremely limited but I am learning. I find it helpful reading Tech's responses after I have read the sonnet myself.
