Why should Pagan Men want to be Wiccan? (Pagans and Wiccans only please)?
Honestly, this is something I personally struggle with. I have been taking grove as a traditional Wiccan dedicant and find it less and less meaningful, always with hints of other traditions woven into it that seem to call me elsewhere. Wiccan Women have the Goddess, the Moon Mysteries and the blood mysteries of menstruation, not to mention the Dianic Tradition which has greatly contributed to both. What do Wiccan Men have besides Male Archetypes that could be more easily worked with outside of a Goddess-favoring faith ?(and don't tell me Wicca is all about Gender equality, cuz it's not. In name only, the Goddess and God are on equal footing. In practice the Goddess almost always gets most of the attention, and the God gets passing honorable mention. Even in the early books, the Drawing Down of the Sun is done only once or twice a year after the Drawing Down of the Moon wich is done often, and the Charge of the Goddess is common where the Charge of the God is almost unheard of.)
I wouldn't hazard a guess unless it's because Women { witches} look good in Black and are a lit bit less inhibited!!
